ABOUT

Phoenix Rising For Children (PRFC) was established in 2001 by personnel with experience, commitment and passion to meaningfully assist and benefit children and their families. We are a member of The Association of Children’s Welfare Agencies (ACWA) and a supporter of The Australian Children’s Contact Services Association.

Phoenix Rising For Children is experienced in the provision of specialist services to children and their families for the Department of Communities and Justice (DCJ), Non-Government Organisations (NGO), Family Law Court Matters and families with Private Family Agreements.

Our focus is the wellbeing and safety of children and with this in mind we provide services to parents, families and other relevant parties. We recognise the importance of relationships to children and their families and the work we do seeks to benefit and assist with such relationships.

I would just like to acknowledge the worker, Katherine, handled this matter extremely well and am really grateful for that.
The mother can be extremely difficult to manage at the best of times. Thank you once again.

OUR TEAM

The team at PRFC hold tertiary qualifications that are relevant to working with and supporting children and their families in provision of supervised contact services. All personnel hold a minimum degree or diploma in areas within the social welfare sector, including Social Work, Education, Counselling, Psychology, Child Protection, Early Intervention and more.

All personnel have current Working With Children Checks, Criminal History Checks, First Aid certificates and are provided with training opportunities and day-to-day training and development. The PRFC team is focussed on contact visits being monitored, facilitated and supported in a positive way.

We understand families have unique stories and we seek to bring both clarity and resolution whilst facilitating a service that is enjoyable and safe for children, their parents and families. We understand the need for appropriate qualifications and the complexities associated with Family Law Court matters, Family Agreements and Contact Supervision generally, and the potential for conflict. PRFC personnel seek to undertake this work with empathy, and in an effective and ethical way to achieve quality outcomes for children and families.

OUR MISSION

Phoenix Rising For Children (PRFC) was established to provide a safe and supportive environment for children to spend time with significant people in their lives with whom they may not be residing.  Our compassionate and dedicated team of qualified personnel hold the care and wellbeing of children above all else as they observe and gather crucial information that will assist in decision making about their future care arrangements.
